Honda Ya Izakaya Mini Review – Part 5

Previously, I’ve reviewed just about everything here, including the great Yakitory here. Last time I was here, I decided to try something different and ordered the cold tofu. Normally, it’s called Hiyayakko, but this was something else. As you can see below, it looks like home made tofu, scooped up like ice cream and served on a bamboo sheet like you normally would see for cold soba noodles.

The tofu was amazingly delicious. I’ve never had home made tofu before and it was amazing. However, I had ordered a lot of other stuff and 3 scoops of tofu was a little too much for just one person. This would be good for 2 or even 3 people to eat together. If you like tofu, this is a must try.
