FCC Says Time Warner Cable Is No Longer “Broadband”

The Federal Communications Commision has just changed the legal definition of “Broadband” to require 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload. As you can see below, my Time Warner Cable provides less than the new legal definition of broadband.

What’s more interesting is when you look at Time Warner’s website, there is not one mention of the word “broadband” anywhere. As you can see below, it’s “High Speed Internet” instead. Glad to see TWC following the law, even if their slow and expensive Internet plans are no longer “broadband.”
