Tsujita LA Ramen Quick Ramen Review
Back in 2013, I tried out the Tsujita Ramen Annex across the street from the main restaurant. And I’ve been here at night twice, and tried their sashimi and sushi. But I’ve never been able to get here early enough to have their lunch menu.
Well, I finally managed to make it here in time for their lunch menu and try their ramen. Since I tried their super thick ramen at the annex, I decided to try their “regular” ramen. As you can see below, even their regular ramen noodles are thick compared to “normal” ramen. Frankly, I like the normal ramen noodles and perhaps this is an acquired taste but I didn’t care for it. Of course, Tsujita’s claim to fame is their Tonkotsu soup (pork broth) but the thick oily soup is also not to my liking. I prefer lighter soup.
If you feel adventurous and would like to try ramen that’s not the same as all the other places, and love the Tonkotsu heavy soup to go along with it, try this place for lunch. Remember: They don’t have ramen on their dinner menu.
