Kaiten Sushi is located in the Sawtelle area along with a bunch of other sushi places. It is located inside the Olympic Collections building so you can park in it’s underground parking lot.
As with other similar places like Kula Revolving Sushi Bar and Frying Fish, this place also has a revolving conveyor belt type system that goes around practically the entire restaurant.
As you can see, what is different is the quality of the sushi. And along with quality, the price is higher as well. All the sushi is made with brown rice so it might take a few outings to get used to the taste if you are not used to it.
The chefs also try to make the atmosphere fun for the customers and are apparently allowed to drink with the customers.
You have the option of getting the all-you-can-eat for $28 (?) or pay per plate ($3-$6). If you are hungry, the all-you-can-eat is the way to go.
All in all, if you want quality revolving sushi, this is definitely the place to check out. I’ll be going back for sure.
