Zencu Sushi & Grill Review – Part 3
Last time I visited this place, I tried their Zencu roll. This time, I decided to try their Tuna Tartare and their “Dragon” roll.
I’m not a big fan of Tuna Tartare but I decided to try their version of it. The presentation was very good but I really didn’t care for the taste. The wasabi mayo dots were good but the there was some type of dressing on the actual tuna that I didn’t care for. It was some type of alcohol and it was too strong for my taste.
My friend always likes to get a roll with Eel and Tempura combined so the waiter suggested that we get the Dragon roll and they would put the tempura inside for us. As you can see from the picture above, the chef put a nice cute touch to the roll to give it eyes and ears. The roll was delish and prepared perfectly.
Since my last trip, this place seems to have more customers and they have jazzed up the booths just a tad to make it a tiny bit more upscale. The hot green tea still costs $1.50 but the beer is only $1.99 so that makes up for it.
