Apparently, the FTC sued Oreck for false advertising of their Oreck Air Purifier and collected a bunch of money for the consumer. Their ads claiming that the air purifier would reduce the risk of flu and other illmesses, and eliminate virtually all common germs and allergens were not scientifically proven, according to the FTC.

So how much money do us consumers get? Here’s the check below:

I bet the lawyers got a little more than $17.60.
