FreedomPop has previously offered hotspot free Internet, and even a smartphone with free Internet. Now, they are offering an iPad Mini for $319.99. But be careful when you are signing up or they will upsell you with a bunch of other stuff that you don’t want to make it more expensive.
As you can see below, you get 500Mb of data, 200 minutes of voice and 500 text messages for free.
But if you were going to get an iPad Mini WiFi version anyway, you can get this version and have a backup way of connecting to the Internet. But keep in mind that you are limited to the 500MB data and if you go over, you will have to pay.
