Wouldn’t it be cool to have your own drone to make fantastic selfies and videos on your vacation? The problem is drones are expensive and too large to carry around with you on your vacation. Not only that, you have to use the remote and control the drone, not to mention registering your drone with the government.
The Hover Camera solves all of these problems. It’s only $599 ($549 right now), folds and is small enough to fit in a purse, is self flying and you don’t need to register it with the government because it’s so small and light.
It takes 13MP pictures and up to 4K video, and has replaceable batteries (lasts about 8 minutes each). and will automatically follow you and even orbit around you and do 360 spins. The propellers are protected so that you don’t have to worry about cutting your fingers. But from watching the videos, it does make a lot of noise and probably can’t be used if you need to record any sounds in real time.
This might be over-kill for the casual consumer, but for professional vloggers or celebrities doing reality shows, this is a perfect solution if the video quality is really good enough. If this is the future of drones, I can’t wait to see the one that fits in your shirt pocket.
