After learning that Sprint will be phasing out their WiMax, I got a little worried about my free FreedomPop account so I decided to contact them using their @FreedomPopHelp Twitter support. After sending them a tweet on June 15, I got back the following message on June 17.
So basically, they didn’t know the answer or didn’t want to tell me the answer. So next, I went to FreedomPop.com and used their support link to send them the question. As it turned out, it’s not as easy as you think to contact FreedomPop on their website but I did eventually get a real answer from “Taylor,” as shown below:
So my FreedomPop Overdrive Pro will be good to 2015, and by the end of 2013, FreedomPop will be offering LTE devices. I hope my account stays free after the LTE upgrade.
