The same Kula Revolving Sushi that I reviewed from downtown is coming to the West side on Sawtelle “soon.” There’s already 6 of them in Southern California and they are opening at least 25 more branches in the next 5 years.
This one will be located in the same building as Curry House and Beard Papa at 2130 Sawtelle Blvd. and will be competing head-to-head against SushiStop right down the street. If this one turns out to be as popular as the one downtown, there will be lines outside.
Apparently, cheap and good is a good combination for any business, even sushi.
